The Digipack

A digipak is a promotional CD package which contains bonus material such as music videos, videos diaries, behind the scenes, extra tracks, live performances, special booklets and sometimes mini posters. They are usually more expensive than the regular CD. They can also be referred to as special edition or deluxe and can be available for a limited time only. The purpose of the digipak is to promote different bands and artists and to gain a larger profit whilst widening their fan base. It's also to gives fans more for their money and to also the bigger fans to get more as a thank you.
